Annex A disclosure item (Data control) that a public provider completes for each cloud service: Where primary and backup data sit (Singapore, elsewhere in Asia Pacific, Europe, the United States or other regions), in how many countries the provider runs data centres, whether customer data ever leaves the stated locations, and whether consent is sought before moving it elsewhere or to a third party. Items the provider cannot or will not disclose carry a remark, and the completed form is signed by the provider and the certification body's lead auditor.
