ITIL 4 4.3.5: Think and work holistically

What does 4.3.5 require?

Nothing works in isolation, whether a service, practice, process, department or supplier. The organization handles its activities as one integrated whole, coordinating the four dimensions, seeing from end to end how demand is taken in and converted into outcomes, and aware that altering one part affects the others. Acknowledge how complex systems are and use heuristics that suit them; work together to tackle issues as a whole; watch for recurring patterns in what system elements need and how they interact; and use automation to give end-to-end visibility and support integrated management.
