If the manufacturer finds or has reason to think a product does not meet Article 3 it must at once bring it into conformity or withdraw it, immediately inform the economic development ministry and the competent authorities of the Member States where it is available with details of the non-conformity and measures, and keep a register of non-conforming products and related complaints. On request it supplies the ministry or other national authorities, in Italian or English, the information and documents proving conformity, and cooperates in their initiatives to bring products into conformity.
