Framework for the governance of IT – ISO/IEC 38500:2024

ISO/IEC 38500:2024 7.2.6: Performance

The governing body states clearly what it expects of IT performance, as the basis for measuring IT's contribution in operation. Performance is judged by how far IT supports the organization as a whole, for example through measures of information and operational security, resilience and the ability to adapt to change; in fast-moving areas such as cybersecurity and artificial intelligence, measurement should include proactive or predictive alerts.
