ISO 50001:2018 - Energy Management Systems 6.2: Objectives, energy targets and planning to achieve them

What does 6.2 require?

Set objectives, and energy targets, at relevant functions and levels (6.2.1). They shall fit the energy policy, be measurable where practicable, take applicable requirements into account, take account of the SEUs and of the opportunities found in the energy review, and be monitored, communicated and updated when appropriate; keep documented information on them (6.2.2). Set up and keep action plans that state what is to be done, which resources it needs, who is responsible, by when it will be finished and how results will be judged, including how the improvement in energy performance will be verified; consider how the actions fit into business processes; keep documented information on the action plans (6.2.3).

This control maps to 1 controls across 1 other frameworks. If you already hold one of them, the evidence you collected for it is the starting point here rather than new work.

  • FV-GFS 23.02 FV-GFS 23.02 Based on the results of the monitoring, there is a plan to improve energy efficiency on the farm.

Every mapping shown was judged rather than inferred from wording similarity, and the ones that failed review are published too. See the coverage reports and what was rejected.
