Additional ISO/IEC 27002 guidance for PII controllers, ISO 27701:2019

ISO 27701:2019 7.5.2: Countries and international organizations to which PII can be transferred

The organization must identify, and record, every country and international organization that personal data could be transferred to, making those identities available to customers and including the countries arising from subcontracted processing, considering them in relation to the documented transfer basis, and recognising that transfers requested by law enforcement may involve countries that cannot be specified in advance or whose identification is prohibited to preserve the confidentiality of an investigation.

You are reading one control. How much of ISO 27701:2019 have you already done?

ISO 27701:2019 7.5.2 is one control. If you already hold one of the frameworks below, a reviewed crosswalk already says how much of ISO 27701:2019 your existing evidence covers. Hold SOC 2 and 58 of 108 ISO 27701:2019 controls already carry evidence.

Each report names every control your existing framework evidences, every one it does not, the reasoning behind each claim, and the claims that were argued against and rejected. 289 were rejected on the SOC 2 pair alone.
