ISO 19650 - Organisation and Digitisation of Information about Buildings and Civil Engineering Works (BIM) 3:5.2.1: 5.2.1 Decide the type of activity providing information

What does 3:5.2.1 require?

The appointing party appoints a lead appointed party for every trigger event in the operational phase, including unforeseen ones, and that choice determines which Figure 4 route (M, N or P) applies. The form of appointment is proportionate to how large and complex the asset management response is and follows any procurement rules binding on the appointing party. Asset information terms may be built into the broader asset management appointment, and 5.2.5 can be adapted for a request to provide service (for example to an in-house team).
