ISO 19650 - Organisation and Digitisation of Information about Buildings and Civil Engineering Works (BIM) 2:5.1.8: 5.1.8 Establish the project's information protocol

A project information protocol, together with any licence agreements, shall be drawn up by the appointing party and built into every appointment. It considers each party's duties for managing and producing information, CDE use included; warranties or liabilities attached to the PIM; background and foreground intellectual property; use of existing asset information and shared resources; use of information during the project and the licence terms that apply; and reuse after the appointment ends or on termination.
