The information management process (Figure 3, running from assessment and need through tender invitation and tender response to appointment and mobilization, then collaborative production, delivering the information model and project close-out) shall be used across the whole delivery phase for every appointment, whatever the project stage. The first activity happens once per project and the rest once per appointment; inside one organization, the appointment may take the form of an internal work instruction that is accepted and confirmed.
