A distributor that believes a product does not conform must not make it available until it conforms and, where it does not comply, inform the manufacturer or importer and the authority; ensure storage and transport do not compromise compliance; after making products available, take corrective measures or withdraw non-conforming products, inform the competent authorities of the Member States concerned without delay, supply conformity information on reasoned request and cooperate with the authority.
