Germany Works Constitution Act (BetrVG) s43-2: s 43(2), (3) Attend works meetings when invited and report once a year on staff, economic and environmental matters

The employer is invited to works and department meetings with the agenda and may speak. At least once a calendar year the employer or its representative reports to the works meeting on staff matters (including the state of gender equality and how well foreign employees are integrated), the economic situation and outlook of the establishment, and its environmental protection, so long as no business secrets are endangered. A meeting requested by the employer is convened with the requested item on the agenda, and the employer is told the date in good time.
