Multi-site sampling does not apply: every site has its own assessment, report, statement and FSSC database entry. Assessment team members meet the Part 4 competence rules and are notified to FSSC as required; the team together covers the relevant subcategories, and trainees or technical experts do not count toward assessment time. No assessor may carry out more than six consecutive assessments at one organisation, after which a gap of at least a year is needed.
