FSSC Development Program Version 2.0 FFM-3.4: Handling of potentially unsafe products

What does FFM-3.4 require?

Potentially unsafe product is identified and held so it cannot be used or shipped until evaluated, then reprocessed or further processed to bring hazards to an acceptable level, or destroyed or sent as waste; the business can report, contain, reprocess, withdraw or recall it; competent, trained staff manage it; and a written procedure covers nonconforming inputs, semi-finished and finished goods, equipment and packaging.
