Paragraph 1 required member states to adopt and publish the laws, regulations and administrative provisions needed to comply by 28 June 2022, and to communicate the text to the Commission immediately. Paragraph 2 required the national measures to be in force from 28 June 2025. Paragraph 3 is the only derogation on the date. A member state may decide to apply the measures for the obligations in Article 4(8), the answering of 112 emergency communications, no later than 28 June 2027. It is not a general extension and it does not move the product or service dates. Paragraph 4 requires the national measures to cite the Directive, or to carry a citation alongside them when they are published. Paragraph 5 requires communication of the main national measures. Paragraph 6 requires a member state that uses the Article 4(4) built-environment option to communicate those measures and report on implementation.
