Distributors must keep storage and transport conditions from jeopardising a product's compliance while it is under their responsibility. A distributor that considers or has reason to believe a product it supplied does not conform must make sure the corrective measures, withdrawal or recall are taken, and where it presents a risk immediately inform the competent authorities with details of the non-compliance and measures taken. On reasoned request it must provide the information and documentation needed to show conformity and cooperate on action to eliminate risks.
