Manufacturers must give each product a type, batch or serial number or other identifying element (on the packaging or an accompanying document where the product is too small). Products other than components must carry the specific marking of explosion protection and the other markings and information of Annex II point 1.0.5. Manufacturers must show their name, registered trade name or mark and a single postal contact address on the product, or where impossible on the packaging or an accompanying document, in a language end-users and market surveillance authorities easily understand.
