EEI must be filed in AES (except for intangible exports) for all exports to E:1 or E:2 countries; all exports needing a licence application; all 9x515 and 600 series .a to .x items, including to Australia, Canada and the U.K.; STA exports; commodities or mass market software over $2,500 per Schedule B number unless the FTR exempt them; transshipments via Australia, Canada or the U.K. that would need EEI or a licence direct; VEU exports; tangible exports where a party is on the Unverified List; specified firearms and ammunition (except under BAG); all CCL items to the PRC (including Hong Kong), Russia or Venezuela regardless of value; and 3A069 items to Country Group D. Where an FTR exemption applies, the export authority must be noted on the loading document. The filer must be in the United States and AES-certified and is responsible for accurate, complete EEI unless reasonably relying on others; EEI is an export control document representing that the export is authorised (licence, exception, NLR or not subject), conforms to any licence and is true. Each item must show the licence authority, the ECCN where required (always for licences and exceptions; for NLR where controlled beyond AT, and for any CCL item to the PRC, Russia or Venezuela), and a CCL-terms description (identical to the licence for licensed exports), with firearm make, model, calibre and serial data and items-paragraph descriptors, and '.z' descriptors for advanced computing items. Agents need a power of attorney or other written authorisation when representing a foreign principal in a routed transaction or applying for a licence.
This control maps to 1 controls across 1 other frameworks. If you already hold one of them, the evidence you collected for it is the starting point here rather than new work.
Every mapping shown was judged rather than inferred from wording similarity, and the ones that failed review are published too. See the coverage reports and what was rejected.
The graph holds this control, the 1 it maps to, and the evidence behind each claim, over MCP and REST.
