Connecticut Rules of Professional Conduct (Connecticut Practice Book) 7.2-d-e: Specialist claims only when certified by an approved body; every communication names a responsible Connecticut lawyer

What does 7.2-d-e require?

A lawyer may claim to be a certified specialist only while currently certified in that field by a body the Rules Committee of the Superior Court has approved or the American Bar Association has accredited, and only if the certifying body is clearly named. Every communication under the rule must carry the name and contact details of at least one Connecticut-admitted lawyer who answers for its content; a television advertisement must show that lawyer's name, address and telephone number in bold, legibly, for fifteen seconds or the whole commercial if shorter.
