CDP (formerly Carbon Disclosure Project)
Module 2: Identification, assessment and management of dependencies, impacts, risks and opportunities – CDP (formerly Carbon Disclosure Project)

CDP (formerly Carbon Disclosure Project) 2.5: Questions 2.5 and 2.5.1: Water pollutant identification and management

The organisation states whether it identifies and classifies potential water pollutants linked to its activities that might harm human health or water ecosystems, how it does so, and describes for each pollutant category the value chain stage, the potential impacts and the actions and procedures used to minimise adverse effects (for example beyond-compliance treatment, reduced use, substitution, monitoring and incident response). CDP's ambition is that pollutants linked to operations and products are identified, classified and effectively reduced and managed.
