BRCGS Global Standard for Food Safety Issue 9 8.5.4: CIP dedicated to the area or designed so flow and rinse reuse cannot contaminate it

What does 8.5.4 require?

Where CIP is used, it must either be dedicated to one area or have a design and controls that create no contamination risk for zones classed high-risk or high-care, controlling the direction of flow from higher to lower risk and stopping rinse solutions being recycled from one area to another.
