People must enter any zone classed high-risk or high-care through a designated changing facility. It has clear instructions on the order in which to change; protective clothing that looks different from other clothing and is never worn beyond the zone; hand-washing built into the changing routine; dedicated footwear or a validated boot wash; and hand disinfection on entry. How well the facilities work must be verified.
