The company must assess the risk presented by each raw material (individually or grouped) and by primary packaging, covering allergens, foreign bodies, microbiological contamination, chemical contamination, cross-contamination between varieties or species, substitution or fraud, and any risk subject to legislation or customer requirements, and taking account of how much the material matters to final product quality. The assessment is the basis for the acceptance and testing procedure and for supplier approval, is kept up to date and is reviewed at least once a year.
This control maps to 1 controls across 1 other frameworks. If you already hold one of them, the evidence you collected for it is the starting point here rather than new work.
Every mapping shown was judged rather than inferred from wording similarity, and the ones that failed review are published too. See the coverage reports and what was rejected.
The graph holds this control, the 1 it maps to, and the evidence behind each claim, over MCP and REST.
