BRCGS Global Standard for Food Safety Issue 9 3.11.1: 3.11.1 Incident and emergency procedures with contingency plans, including cyber-security failures

The company must have procedures to report and manage incidents and potential emergencies affecting food safety, authenticity, legality or quality, with contingency plans covering disruption of water, energy, transport, refrigeration, staff and communications, fire, flood and natural disaster, malicious contamination or sabotage, contamination indicating unsafe or illegal product and failures of or attacks on digital cyber-security, and considering withdrawal or recall of released products.
