Part 2-2: fraud and corruption control, debt recovery and officials' disclosure of material personal interests (sections 10 to 16DA) – Australia Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Rule 2014 (PGPA Rule)

Australia Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Rule 2014 (PGPA Rule) 16: Other officials' disclosure: an official who is not the accountable authority or a member of it discloses any material personal interest in the way the accountable authority's instructions require

What does 16 require?

Officials below the accountable authority level who have a material personal interest connected with the entity's affairs must disclose it following the accountable authority's instructions, which therefore need to say how, when and to whom staff and other officials declare interests. For APS employees the Public Service Act imposes a parallel but separate disclosure obligation.
