Part 2-3: corporate plans, budget estimates, performance records and statements, accounts, financial statements, audit, audit committee and annual report (sections 33 to 49) – Australia Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013 (PGPA Act)

Australia Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013 (PGPA Act) 46: Annual report: after the end of each reporting period prepare and give an annual report on the entity's activities to the responsible Minister for presentation to the Parliament by the 15th day of the fourth month after the period ends (or any extension granted under the Acts Interpretation Act), complying with the rules approved by the Joint Committee of Public Accounts and Audit

What does 46 require?

When a reporting period ends, the accountable authority must put together an annual report on the entity's activities during that period and give it to the responsible Minister for presentation to the Parliament. The deadline is the 15th day of the fourth month after the period closes, unless a longer period has been granted under subsection 34C(5) of the Acts Interpretation Act. The report carries the annual performance statements and the audited financial statements and must satisfy any rule requirements, which the Joint Committee of Public Accounts and Audit must have approved on the Parliament's behalf before they were made.
