Part 2-3: corporate plans, budget estimates, performance records and statements, accounts, financial statements, audit, audit committee and annual report (sections 33 to 49) – Australia Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013 (PGPA Act)

Australia Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013 (PGPA Act) 35: Corporate plan: prepare a corporate plan at least once each reporting period, give it to the responsible Minister and the Finance Minister, comply with and publish it under the rules, address the Government's key priorities where relevant, cover subsidiaries, and follow the rules when varying it

What does 35 require?

Once in every reporting period, at least, the accountable authority must produce a corporate plan (whatever it is called) and deliver it to the responsible Minister and the Finance Minister as the rules direct; the plan has to meet the rules' content requirements and be published as they require. If the Government has published its key priorities and objectives and the entity's purposes bear on them, the plan must explain how the entity's activities will help achieve them, so far as that is compatible with any enabling legislation. Subsidiaries must be covered alongside the entity, with the prescribed particulars for each, and a variation of the plan must follow the rules on variations.
