A workplace delegate may represent eligible workers who want it in consultation about major change and roster or hours changes, disputes, disciplinary processes, enterprise bargaining where appointed as bargaining representative or assisting their organisation, and any other award, agreement or policy process in which workers can be represented. The delegate may communicate with eligible workers about their industrial interests, including membership and representation, during working hours or breaks or before or after work. The employer must deal with the delegate in those capacities.
