Ordinary hours the employer directs between midnight Friday and midnight Saturday are paid at 150% for 2 hours and then 200%; between midnight Saturday and midnight Sunday at 200%. Public holiday (or substitute day) ordinary hours attract 250%. Plumbing and mechanical services employees who must work on a public holiday get a minimum of 4 hours' work, or 4 hours' pay at the right rate, and hours in the same continuous shift adjoining a part-day public holiday count toward it.
