On Saturday, Sunday and public holiday work, a 20-minute meal break must be allowed after 4 hours, paid at the relevant overtime rate; a 30-minute meal period may be arranged, with the extra 10 minutes unpaid. If required to work more than a further 4 hours, the employee is allowed a 30-minute rest paid at the overtime rate.
