The employer must reimburse, up to the maximum in clause 21.8(d)(ii) of the current award (consolidated to 16 September 2026, read 30 September 2026), tools or clothing lost to fire or break-in while securely stored as directed at the employer's workshop, job or premises, tools lost or stolen while carried at the employer's direction, tools accidentally lost over water, and tools lost or stolen after the employee left the job through injury or illness.
