An employee handling insulating materials such as vermiculite, limpet fibre, slag wool, insulwool, silicate of cotton, granulated cork, pumice or charcoal, or other insulants with similar disabilities, must be paid the amount per hour or part hour in clause 21.6(l) of the current award (consolidated to 16 September 2026, read 30 September 2026). Employees working nearby who are affected by the materials are paid the same.
