Inclement weather means rain or abnormal climatic conditions such as hail, high wind, extreme cold or heat, or severe dust storms, alone or combined, that make it unreasonable or unsafe to keep working. When the employees or their representative ask, the employer or its representative must meet to confer within a reasonable time, which may not exceed 60 minutes, to decide whether those conditions exist. An employee who leaves before this process is observed is not entitled to inclement weather pay.
