Australia OGTR Guidelines for Certification of a PC2 Aquatic Facility (Version 3.1) B19: Before structural changes

What does B19 require?

Before any structural changes that will affect containment of GMOs, the applicant (the certification holder) must ask the Regulator in writing either (a) to suspend the certification or (b) to vary the certified area so dealings can carry on in a part the work does not touch (the guideline gives the example of temporarily partitioning the facility so one end keeps GMOs contained while the other is altered, then applying again to restore the removed area once the work is done).
