Communicate in the child's preferred way (assistive technology, alternative and augmentative communication, key word signs, Auslan, visual supports), offer choices and respect a 'no', treat behaviour as communication, and support regulation. Providers never force a child to do something they do not want to do and never isolate a child from other children as punishment; they do not withhold free movement until an instruction is followed.
The graph holds this control, the 0 it maps to, and the evidence behind each claim, over MCP and REST.
