Australia National Consumer Credit Protection Act 2009 (Cth) s133BC-BV: Part 3-2B Credit cards: Key Facts Sheet, no limit increase invitations, limit reduction and termination on request

A credit card provider must include an up-to-date Key Facts Sheet in its application form, must not make credit limit increase invitations, must provide an online way for the consumer to ask to reduce the limit or end the contract, give effect to those requests as soon as practicable, not discourage them, not charge fees for using the card over the limit without the required consent, and apply payments and calculate interest as Divisions 6 and 7 require.
