Australia National Consumer Credit Protection Act 2009 (Cth) s133: s 133 Do not enter, or increase the limit of, an unsuitable credit contract

A credit provider must not enter a credit contract, or increase a credit limit, if at that time it is likely the consumer cannot meet the obligations or only with substantial hardship, the contract does not meet their requirements or objectives, or prescribed unsuitability circumstances apply.
