Australia Model Work Health and Safety Regulations r74-75: rr 74 and 75 Confined space first aid and rescue procedures, access and emergency PPE

The PCBU establishes first aid and rescue procedures for confined space emergencies, practises them as needed to keep them efficient and effective, ensures they start from outside the space as soon as practicable, ensures entry and exit openings are large enough for emergency access and unobstructed, and maintains rescue plant, equipment and PPE in good order; air-supplied respiratory equipment is available to and provided for rescuers where oxygen is unsafe, a harmful contaminant is present or likely, and suitable PPE where engulfment has occurred or is a serious risk.
