The person with management or control ensures an asbestos register is prepared and kept at the workplace and kept up to date, recording asbestos or ACM identified or likely to be present from time to time with the date identified and its location, type and condition, or stating that none is identified (a new register is not needed if one exists; buildings constructed after 31 December 2003 with no asbestos identified or likely are exempt); and reviews and revises it when the asbestos management plan is reviewed, further asbestos is identified, or asbestos is removed, disturbed, sealed or enclosed.
