The holder of a design registration gives the plant design registration number to the manufacturer, importer or supplier, who gives it to the person with management or control of plant made or supplied to that design; that person keeps the number readily accessible near the plant at all times; and the registration holder keeps the registration document available for inspection unless it has been returned for amendment or a replacement has been applied for.
