A worker has to look after their own health and safety with reasonable care and must not act in a way that adversely affects others. They must comply, as far as they reasonably can, with reasonable instructions and cooperate with notified reasonable health and safety policies and procedures. Where the business provides personal protective equipment, the worker must use or wear it as far as reasonably able, in line with the information, instruction and training given.
