Australia Hospitality Industry (General) Award 2020 (MA000009) 28.2: 28.2 to 28.4 Pay overtime, daily, including the 4-hour minimum on rostered and accrued days off

Full-time employees are paid overtime for time beyond ordinary hours, part-time employees in the clause 10.13 cases, and casuals beyond the clause 11.2 limits. Full-time and part-time employees required to work on a rostered or accrued day off are paid at the overtime rate with a minimum of 4 hours, unless the work continues a roster that began the day before or is continuous overtime from the previous day. Overtime is calculated daily, at the percentages of the ordinary hourly rate in Table 13 of the current award (consolidated to 1 July 2026, read 30 September 2026) (varying by weekday hours, weekends and rostered days off; public holiday work is paid under clause 29).
