Australia Franchising Code of Conduct (Franchising Regulations 2024) s34: s 34 Disclose materially relevant facts within 14 days

The franchisor must give franchisees and prospective franchisees financial details (statements, declarations or documents) not reflected in the current disclosure document as soon as reasonably practicable and before a prospective franchisee signs, and must tell them in writing within a reasonable time, not more than 14 days, of other materially relevant facts the disclosure document does not mention (for example changes in ownership, proceedings, or insolvency events).
