Eligible workers who want it may have a workplace delegate represent their industrial interests, including in consultation about major change and about rosters or hours, dispute resolution, disciplinary processes, enterprise bargaining (where appointed a bargaining representative under s 176 or assisting their organisation), and any award, agreement or policy process in which eligible workers may be represented. The delegate may communicate with eligible workers about those interests, including membership and representation, during working hours or breaks, or before or after work.
