Employees are entitled to public holidays under Division 10 of the NES, and a public holiday not worked is paid at the ordinary hourly rate (which includes all-purpose allowances). Clause 10.5 applies the same principle to part-time employees whose normal hours fall on a holiday, and work actually done on a public holiday is paid under clause 20.4(b) or clause 13.15.
