A club or incorporated association and its committee must not discriminate on the ground of disability in accepting applications for membership or in the terms of admission, nor against members in terms, classes of membership, benefits, deprivation or other detriment, unless membership is restricted to people with a particular disability (s 27). A person must not exclude another from a sporting activity, including administration and coaching, on the ground of disability, except where the person cannot reasonably perform the actions required, participants are selected by a reasonable skills-based method, or the activity is for people with a particular disability (s 28).
