ASIC Regulatory Guide 274 Product Design and Distribution Obligations (Australia) RG274.109-112: Set reasonable maximum periods for the first and later reviews

The TMD must state the maximum period before the first review and between later reviews. ASIC expects shorter periods for complex or higher-risk products, narrow target markets and issuers with little experience or an unproven distribution network; periods can be adjusted when risk or evidence changes.
