Every set needs an isolator that breaks all live conductors, mounted on or next to the set within clear view of anyone working on it; it may double as the Clause 2.6.2 overcurrent device (reference corrected by A1). The isolator may sit in the generator switchboard instead, and where the set is the only supply source it must leave the neutral unswitched.
