Each hand basin has warm running potable water on permanent supply, delivered from one outlet (for example a preset instantaneous heater, a thermostatic heater, a mixer tap or a thermostatic mixing valve). Where the flow is on a timer, warm water runs for at least 15 seconds before stopping.
