Supports follow Table 4.5 (see Figure 4.5). Tubular steel legs and brackets have their open ends permanently capped or sealed. Equipment fixed directly to the floor or a plinth has a base that will not corrode from water and cleaning chemicals, or is sealed to the floor so grease, dirt or water cannot get beneath. Equipment on benches or work surfaces is either movable by one person or sealed to the surface with no open joints, spaces, crevices or cavities. Table 4.5: wheels and castors carry the loaded weight, move easily and leave room to clean beneath and beside (gas equipment may need restraints and lockable wheels under work health and safety law); legs and brackets are non-corroding metal or moulded plastic, smooth, free of cavities and ledges, and leave at least 150 mm clear beneath the fitting; pressed metal brackets with hollow backs are filled; service pipes run beneath fittings only vertically and with at least 25 mm clearance from adjoining surfaces; framework allows easy cleaning of itself and adjacent surfaces and denies pests access and harbourage.
This control maps to 1 controls across 1 other frameworks. If you already hold one of them, the evidence you collected for it is the starting point here rather than new work.
Every mapping shown was judged rather than inferred from wording similarity, and the ones that failed review are published too. See the coverage reports and what was rejected.
The graph holds this control, the 1 it maps to, and the evidence behind each claim, over MCP and REST.
