The membrane must be continuous into the drainage outlet. Where a channel lacks a built-in flange (horizontal or vertical) 50 mm wide to terminate the membrane on, the membrane runs continuously under the channel and terminates at a recessed leak control flange. Channels without integral flanges installed against a wall must meet the vertical termination requirements of 4.6.3.
